The U.S. Senate has designated May 2007 as National Autoimmune Diseases Awareness Month (ADAM)! This and any other measure taken to educate the medical and research industry is a blessing to those of us who live with this type of disease. And a note worth mentioning is that our families and friends who live with us and love us are just as effected by the autoimmune diseases as those who suffer from them.
